...Andy’s Harley Rides offer personalized touring throughout Melbourne and Victoria on immaculate Harley Davidson Motor Bikes.Andys Harley Rides was established in 1995 when Andy (pictured right) previously an automotive engineer and owner of a large auto engineering business decided his passion for harley’ and riding could become a full time occupation. And so he sold his business and put all of his time and effort into building a reputable, safe, adventurous and exciting company that has provided many exhilarating and memorable experiences for thousands of happy clients.
He has 50 riders 12 of those have sidecars plus the only harley trike licensed to tours in Victoria making it possible to do large rides as in the case of the Essendon football club staff bonding day took 48 passengers from their offices to Port Melbourne.
Andys bikes (both solo and sidecars) are customised 'Soft-tailFat Boy' and a 'dyna wide glide' which exhibit the classic style of true Harley Davidsons. The intricate attention to detail becomes obvious as you scan Andys bikes. Skulls with glowing eyes on the brake lights, celtic cross side mirrors, and the front wheel that resembles a martial arts weapon and major upgrade from the standard harley brake system are just a few. Andys 40 plus years of experience with riding and mechanics ensures that his bikes are regulary checked to ensure safety and reliability.
A member of the 'Victorian Motorcycle Tour Operators Association (VMTOA), Local Tourism Association, Andy has formed connections with many local businesses along the touring routes, and so utilises these to promote Victorian tourism, whilst introducing clients to experiences they may otherwise have missed out on. International clients comment on the excentricity and trustworthiness of Andys style as he is renown for going out of his way to ensure you wont forget this experience. Just one warning, if you have to be somewhere by a specific time, let Andy know as he has been known to be up to three hours overtime (at no charge to the client) as he and the clients were having so much fun.
"Your senses are taken on a sublime journey, having the freedom of virtually being able to look 360 degrees while feeling the throbbing pulse of the engine beneath you and the rush of air on your face." Kristin Lee (Victorian Postcards Magazine issue 2 #1)
